Lani Lutar, ChaiR/President

Lani Lutar is president of Responsible Solutions, a public affairs firm specializing in advocacy, coalition building and government relations. She has more than 15 years of experience in public policy research and analysis, business development and strategic marketing.

Prior to establishing Responsible Solutions, Lutar led three respected local non-profit organizations as CEO/Executive Director over a period of ten years: San Diego County Taxpayers Association, Equinox Center and the Asian Business Association of San Diego.

Lutar serves on the board of directors of San Diego Coastkeeper and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the advisory boards for the Pacific Arts Movement, Asian Business Association of San Diego, and Mayor Kevin Faulconer's Asian Pacific Islander Advisory Group.

She earned a Master of Pacific International Affairs degree from the University of California, San Diego and graduated magna cum laude from San Diego State University with a BA in Psychology.

Margarita Wilder, Secretary

Margarita Wilder is Senior Vice President of the Entravision media outlets in San Diego, California and Tijuana, Mexico. Her tenure in San Diego has included managing both the Entravision Spanish and English language television stations with effectiveness and unparalleled community vision. Before coming to San Diego, Wilder successfully managed Entravision stations in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso, Wilder began her broadcasting career with Entravision at KINT-TV, El Paso.

Ruben Barrales, Director 

Ruben Barrales is President of GROW Elect. He has also recently served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Barrales has served on various boards including the Board of Directors of the Public Policy Institute of California, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Border Infrastructure Task Force, and the California Speaker’s Commission on State and Local Government Finance.

Barrales received the “Ohtli Award” from the government of Mexico for his commitment to improving the well-being of Hispanics in the United States and Hispanic Business Magazine has listed him as one of the “100 Most Influential Hispanics” in the United States.

Delores Chavez, Director

 Delores Chavez Harmes is owner of Chavez Financial Offices (CFO), a firm that offers accounting, tax, and business management services for the private sector, certified public accountants & law firms.

Chavez is Vice President of the Latino American Political Association of San Diego and also serves on the San Diego County Citizens Law Enforcement Review Board, the San Diego County Federation of Republican Women, and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Chavez is a graduate of Central Washington University, the University of Phoenix, and the Golden State School of Contracting.
